Dr. Lamons specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and balance disorders.  She previously worked in private practice where her primary focus was evaluating patients for hearing aids, dispensing all levels of technology and providing follow up hearing aid services.

She also worked as a faculty associate for the Department of Communicative and Vestibular Disorders at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. While there she provided behavioral audiological evaluations, auditory evoked potentials such as Auditory Brainstem Response evaluations (ABR) and Electrocochleography (EcoG) and vestibular assessments including Videonystagmography (VNG), Platform Posturography, Pressure fistula, and Sinusoidal Harmonic Acceleration for the adult and pediatric populations of Aston Ambulatory Care Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital and Children’s Medical Center.
Dr. Lamons received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has obtained a Clinical Certificate of Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and is licensed to practice audiology by the Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Texas Academy of Audiology and the American Tinnitus Association.
Dr. Lamons is married with two daughters.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and riding her bike.
